My overall impression of ACT is that it is a huge convenience and there is a large trust factor.
Before, we had our general managers trying to do disaster management themselves. It was so time consuming making all those phone calls to deal with repair and recovery that they didn’t have time to take care of guests.
With ACT it’s so much easier for the general managers to just make one phone call. The one-stop shopping is well worth the money. ACT comes in and gets the subcontractors needed to get everything done in the quickest manner. It is critical to get rooms back in order, because when guest rooms are down that’s lost dollars.
